"only" 131 cents on Italy this year? 2 years ago it was at 120.

I made a little list of the number of Autovías and Autopistas in de Communidad of Madrid. Note that some Madrid radiales are also in Castilla-La Mancha, these are not taken into account! Only the Communidad Madrid proper.

Are there any plans to upgrade the road that goes into Portugal from Galicia into better motorway? It kind of gives a bad picture of Spain that when you're driving north on this nice Portuguese motorway you suddenly get a really terrible road when you cross the border. :lol (It's only for a short while before it then turns into a nice road though...weird that they would leave this bit in these conditions when the rest a bit north is fine!)

That's true.
The pavement of the spanish A-55 next to the border was really horrible! But I think that's being repaired.

Anyway, when you say that "It's only for a short while before it then turns into a nice road" probably you immediately take the AP-9 (tolled), after the border. Because if you continue in the toll free A-55 and go to Vigo, it's even worse, between Porriño and Vigo, with sharp curves limited to 60 or 70km/h. It's one of the most substandard stretches of the spanish autovia network.

Anyway, the pavement should be repaired and with the contruction of the new A-52 from Porriño to Vigo that stretch with the crazy curves will be avoided.

Massive. But Bilbao is quite large, and it's the only east-west connection in the region.

I meant the A-8, but i don't quite get the project, is it a completely new project or an upgrade from the existing A-8 Autovía?

Completelly new.
Runs more or less paralel to the A8.
I've searched for a good and clear map of it but I couldn't find one. All this fancy renders and maps are beautifull, but they are a bit confusing.

On the map above, posted by AdemA, the new Supersur will be the yellow line.
The A8 is represented in white, as all the other roads.

Something like this...

In red the A-8 (now used one)
In green the A-8 parts that are going to get amplify
In blue the Supersur

Can you also represent the AP-68 in that map?

How is the conection between the AP-68 and the Supersur going to be?
Will it be possible to do the movement from the AP-68 to the Supersur (east)?
I ask this because nowadays it's impossible to do that on the A8 (AP-68 to A8 (east)). You have to take a normal road for 2 km's or something.

No, but traffic to and from France can use the more to the east N-I (A-1), and the AP-1 in the future. But it's no good for local traffic.

Of course.

In brown the AP-68
In purple the road that you say that you have to take to enter from the AP-68 to the A-8

I have to correct that the green part between the red parts is also an extension of the "Supersur" to the port. (That is the part that we can see in the last renders). Sorry.

To the type of conection between the Supersur and the AP-68 I have no idea, sorry. Perhaps anothere forumer can tell you.
