I think the new Malaga west ringroad is going to cost 20 something million euros/km and I think I read it was the most expensive motorway in Spain. But Supersur certainly has that place now!

You guys are so cheap.

Dutch A4 is estimated at € 100 million/km.

What about the underground highways in Madrid?
Aren't they more expensive?

But in the Netherlands, we don't take advantage of being in the EU. We are a net payer, but somehow they never ask for EU funding for roads, quite strange.

Government of Biscay will pay this road.

What is it made of? Gold?

The most expensive non-urban strech I know here has something like 1.5km of tunnels and 2.2 km of bridges in 8km through a difficult terrain and doesn't reach 20 million/km. 100 million is something unbelievable (although the amount for Supersur is amazing as well for Spanish standards).

Still, it's certainly a special stretch.

Do you have average proces for motorways today in the Netherlands (if theere are any at all being built)?

La carretera que marcas como M-45 es la A2 en la parte exterior del Nudo de Eisenhower. La carretera que tienes sin marcar con el puente atirantado es la A6 antes de llegar al casco viejo de Las Rozas.

Saludos

I really like Spain's progress. I hope that in 30 years we in Eastern Europe will accomplish just as much (though I have doubts).

Never thought they were famous, although I have seen them from M30. They are close to Las Ventas bullring, aren't they?

The second pic posted by Chris is from the area in Madrid I know the most. There are some interesting headquarters over there.

Yes, they are close to Las Ventas. If you want to look for them on a map, search for Avenida Donostiarra. It's de main street over the M-30 that crosses the "cluster" of commies...

The only truly secure system is one that is powered off, cast in a block of concrete and sealed in a lead-lined room with armed guards - and even then I have my doubts. Gene Spafford.
I am Basque, not Russian, the "Siberia" thing is a joke.
