Hey guys
Hope you all doing well, there are some updates going in this airport. Today in the newspaper they decide to change the name of the new airport from "Doha International Airport" to (Hamad International Airport) proportion to His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani the Emier of Stat of Qatar. Lets go in a tour standing on the latest development of this projects   Parking  The Mosque  Main Interface  Main Entrance and Lobby    Duty Free area   Passport control  Gate area        First Class Spa  Baggage Area  Emiri Terminal  Air Traffic Control Tower  Qatar Airways Lounge  NOTE that the airport is 98% ready and it should be opened on 12.12.2012 but it get delay till April or June 2013 Last edited by love-qatar; January 10th, 2013 at 04:56 PM. |

Hi all,
on the 1st of Febbruary I will go through DOH on my way back to Manchester and I will land at 06:50 with the next flight at 07:40. I was wondering ....is 50 minutes enough? Thanks

 and you can text me any time if you will and need assestent... well you will not need anything the bus will come and pick you and all the other passingers from the plain toward either the arival terminal or the transfer terminal, there will be vedio and audio explaining that when you are in the bus and before the plane land in Doha, just pay attention when you are in the bus because they will call and say arrival to doha or transfer to other flights and you doha have to worry about bags, but make sure you have your bording for your conect flight in the country of departure so you dont delay at doha airport, it will be smooth and easy dont worry, they will give you as well a stiker wich match the doors where you should leave the bus here you go... that link will explain to you what you should do, and they will display it before landing as i mantioned up and in the busses  enjoy your flight in advance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hk5U9Zq_JNU |

I flew through DOH in November and the current airport (or lack of) is a complete dump. I wish this terminal had been open!
Everyone passing through the airport just looked confused, it was like a military base.
