I have noticed a fair amount of demolition going on around the Rosslyn Metro station (and I wouldn't be surprised if that McDonald's is next on the list). Does anyone have any renderings of the buildings that are going to be built on N. Moore Street besides the one Infoman has already included?

Central Place will be across the st. from the metro and will include a nice park or courtyard in between the two towers and 1812 N. Moore will be adjacent to the metro and will enlarge the entrance into the Rosslyn Metro. It's supposed to be LEED Platinum.
Central Place ![]() 1812 N. Moore - will be the tallest in the immediate DC Metro Area.

Yeah the site where that one is going has seen more activity lately. It's going to house some Virginia Tech research space and some other educational spaces so it seemed a bit more likely to get completed than some of the other projects. I really want The Spire to go up someday.

See I knew that if I created a thread for Arlington at first people were going to say it was a dumb idea but now look at it!!!
Thank You for correcting me on that building that is proposed in Alexandria!!! Here's a little info on Residence Inn: 132,000 s.f. hotel, 176 suites and 9,500 s.f. retail and restaurant– final piece of Courthouse Plaza! Completion Summer 2009.

Found the website for Central Place. They claim that the building is going to right above the metro station, though according to the map it is actually right across the street. It also appears the McDonalds there is doomed - Central Place is going to take up the entire block.

1812 N. Moore is on top/beside of the metro, Central Place is right across the street. Technically, it's is on top of the metro, but not on top of the entrance.

Also, what is going to be put right next to the metro entrance? A building was demolished next door, and I can't recall what is supposed to be replacing it. And will the rather outdated shopping/dining area immediately adjacent to the metro entrance (to your right if you are exiting the gates) be replaced as well?

1812 N. Moore will be adjacent to the Metro entrance. It will be the tallest in Rosslyn. I've already posted a pic along with a description. There are 3 buildings total going up in that area, Central Place 1 and 2, and 1812 N. Moore. Turnberry Tower and Waterview Towers are also a block away, so 6 large towers in a 2 block radius basically. It was a nice little boom in Rosslyn. They need to fix the street-level activity though after work hours.
