I really don't know what to think about this tower. It is such a nice building on its own - although the cladding looks very mediocre. In context, it looks completely out of place. The curvature of the facade seems so disjointed and the juxtaposition of the building is completely wrong on the skyline. It looks quite stumpy too - although being surrounded by buildings of a similar height or taller does not let you fully appreciate the height, I guess.

Actually they do fly directly over manhattan on several approach lanes depending on the size & weight & which runway it is coming from or going to.

I can't tell you how creepy it is, and every time one flys over i automatically look up with apprehension.

More photos soon.

I really do hate that stupid tower in Jersey City, so lumpish and out of place, looks exactly like a crappier version of IFC 2 in Hong Kong with the top half chopped off! Ridiculous.
Great photos tho btw!

That building that you hate also happens to be owned and constructed by the same company that commissioned this building, Goldman Sachs lol.

The designer meant for it to look like IFC1. At 781 feet its the tallest building in jersey. And is owned by goldman sachs, So you dis one goldmen sachs building while complementing the other And its not out of place. Now Citicorp Building in queens as out of place, because theres no other tall building around it.
