^ Amazing shot!!! Really shows all the activity going on around the World Trade Center site. That area is going to be completely different in 10 years when many of these projects are done. Cant wait.

Since they're redeveloping the area anyway, they might as well get rid of that little concrete monstrosity next to the Goldman Sachs building and replace it with something cool.

I drove past the tower today and shot a video:

The original video is in MP4 and way more clearer.

Anyways here are some screenshots:

I really like the cladding, personally. The silver and green is nice, a refreshing change. Some people have said this building is totally unremarkable, but I beg to differ. It perfectly complements the World Financial Center next door.

Who could find a 240 m building with a beautiful curved facade unremarkable? I think that it's magnificent.

Ultra-slow? What city in a non-developing nation has built more in the past 5 years?

of course the usa are still #1 in the western hemisphere (better said: western countries). when building skyscrapers. i was just trying to say that i don't understand nyc's building policy. always slowing everything down. but don't get me wrong here, i'm still a fan of nyc (and chicago of course), just gave both a 10/10 in the skyline ranking here.

EDIT: better to get to the topic, though my words are a bit off- topic...
