Wasn't it built last? It's weathering if you look at satellite photos; just a lot slower than the others. It's like it's weathered on top but not on the sides. Maybe because the others have a sloped roof while this one is stepped?

Do you want her? As someone who lives near Norfolk, VA (that being the USS New York's homeport) I think a swap of a tower for her would be acceptable. Naval vessels in Norfolk are like skyscrapers in New York, they are the biggest in the world, and we have dozens.

Unfortunately we dont have many tall buildings if you would consider them tall (Westin Hotel in Virginia Beach is the state tallest at 38 stories) so I think 39 or igher should be good

Hopefully this is not to much off topic

I didn't know you have monument of Katyń massacre in NY. Nice.

Building is nice addition to skyline, I like it.

Woo nice to see that the building has lights which mimic the WFC's bands of lights as well.

More lights on the skyline!!

Maybe once the WTC is finished they'll replace the dead bulbs on the WFC. They've been there for a decade.

I agree more lights. Especially in this area.

Thanks!

The 2 roof lines have a string of white lights, you can't see the lower roof lights from exchange place, just the far north end facing the river.

As far as WFC lights, i've heard plans of replacing them in 2011 to have a totally lit cove (by the water) & roof/crown area, as well as something for the winter garden. I have also heard that when the site is complete even 7 wtc will get roof lights, sort of like a skyscraper building version of liberty's torch kind of idea. The way it was described to me is hard to repeat in text, but it sounded great.

I'll try & get more photos asap, though the only day i know i'll be able to get new ones is thanksgiving. I'll try to get it from park row & the staten island ferry and newport as well.

It's all ready really nice to see from the pier at exchange place.

My photos don't do it justice, it's always a bit hazy or smoggy or some such when i happen to be there at night, but now that winter is coming and dusk comes earlier, i will likely be able to get at least one good shot from the pier.

It can be seen from pretty much all the way up the waterfront to hoboken.

Very nice! By the way, i noticed something... Hudson street GS tower & this one are right near PATH stations, in fact the 2 stations are the very next stop, i think that is genius, because you can hop on PATH vs driving.
