No 1-bedroom units?!?
Depends on the article (and bad reporting): Read the official press release: http://www.discoverslu.com/files/con...ts_Release.pdf

They're already including the planned amazon developments in the 'features of SLU'

Ok weird- I wonder why they reported it like that. I thought that was bizarre to include studios and then jump to 3-bedroom units without any 1- or 2-bedroom units. Thanks

I like most of the tower, FTR. Hopefully the podium will turn out well... Some greenery might look good on it.

I feel like Vulcans buildings turn out on the positive end once all is said and done. I'm sure it'll look good- especially since they plan on marketing these units on the expensive side as luxury apartments.

Crappy iPhone pics?..... iPhone's have great cams!!
I'm really liking this, the base looks good. I'm hoping the facade is animated like a theater screen with LED lighting or so on..

That's so funny! I had the same idea for theatre advertising. But then realized that Cinerama is a one-screen theatre so it may not be needed unlike a multiplex. But a good use of parking level concealment.

I was thinking for something like this for the garage.. Light still floods into the space during the day, but by night the exterior is animated into public art notices, ads for Cinerama, color light shows, or simple waves of solid color for holidays.

You know, this really isn't the most visible corner for something like this. One way traffic on 5th has their view impaired by the building just north. You could really see it until you are upon it. On Lenora, the monorail blocks about half of it. That leaves pedestrian traffic only which is limited in that area. Isn't there a hotel across the street too? Might not have happy guests with a big bright screen across the street!

Just my thoughts.

Trying to remember. Is this building two below and four above for parking levels?

Either someone mixed up their URLs, or the Martin has had one hell of an operation.
