They have added 1 floor to Stamford II due to popular demand. So Stamford II has now 19 floors.

Napaka-substantial, 1 floor! So I guess they're planning 2 for the third one?

hahaha! Parang yung mga Lafayette siguro ng Eastwood just to have a gradual increase in height.

Stamford Two is similar to Stamford One only that the roofdeck area has 10 additional units occupying half of the floor area, with the other half delegated to the badminton court and mini-gym. Wala kasing pool itong building na ito. But of course, the tenants here can use One and Three's pool facilities naman.

So far so offer here sa McKinley Hill, Stamford Residences at 18/19 floors are the highest, higher than the highest structure of Tuscany. And since it's on top of the McKinley Hill, this location is superb!

Will ask about any height restrictions tonight when I go to the cocktails ng Megaworld. Ako din curious.

Hey! Everyone's invited sa cocktails, just look for our SSC host, Mr. Germain Alilio. See you there!

Is that because of the airport's proximity?

Good question. Or is it possibly just FAR restrictions?

I don't think it's because of FAR, the whole McKinley area seems too big to be restricted by FAR because only a part of it has high-rises, the size of the lot would have accumulated a big allowable floor area for it's massive size, enough for a very tall building.

Looking at this mukhang hindi rin yata along the plane path ang McKinley Hills.

I have a group of investors who plans to buy the whole penthouse floor of stamford 3...and we plan to make it as a condotel or for transient...all rental incomes will be divided between partners. Starting amount is P750,000...of course, it will still be 4 years to pay without interest and no downpayment. So if there is anybody interested just PM me and I will hook you with the group.

Oo, along the radius, so yung vicinity ng McKinley Hill and neighboring, up to 20th floor lang ang highest. Actually, the planes pass more on the other side of C-5, so the pictures posted taken on the airplane are actually overhead C-5 or at the other side, so kita ang McKinley Hill.

But since Stamford Residences are way up this McKinley Hill, definitely, planes will not pass this vicinity.

I'm going there now, will check it out to confirm.

Hah! No planes flying directly on top of McKinley Hill.

Anyway, anybody interested to know that there's a single 32sqm unit that opened up at the penthouse of Stamford Two. Uy!

PM me for details.

Megaworld says it sees P60B in township investments
Inquirer

MANILA, Philippines -- Condominium and office space developer Megaworld Corp. said Thursday it expected its 50-hectare McKinley Hill project in Fort Bonifacio, near the Makati business district, to generate up to P60 billion in investments over the next five to seven years.

Business locators, schools and foreign embassies are expected to invest P10 billion in commercial establishments, P20 billion in residential projects and P30 billion in office spaces, company chairman and chief executive Andrew Tan said in a statement.

Tan said McKinley Hill was the company’s biggest township project to date and that it would have a dozen project components, such as single detached homes in McKinley Hill Village, townhouses, a mid-rise condominium called McKinley Hill Garden Villas, offices for business process outsourcing (BPO) services, high-rise luxury residences, embassies, schools, a mall, sports amenities, an events venue and a hotel.

Megaworld itself is investing until 2014 some P12 billion in construction of BPO offices, P3 billion in development of the retail and mall component, and P18 billion in the residential component of McKinley Hill, he said.

Tan said different components of the McKinley project were in various stages of development, with 80 percent of the residential lots in the Mediterranean-style McKinley Hill Village sold and ready for house construction.

Tower 1 of the Stamford Executive Residences, which will cater to BPO employees, has already started construction, he said.

The first BPO building in the area, the 30,000-square-meter One World Square, is expected to be finished in May, Tan said. A second tower, Two World Square, has broken ground, he added.

A new site for the British embassy has also broken ground, and the Korean embassy also plans to relocate there, he said.

He said McKinley Hill had also attracted the Chinese International School, Korean International School and Enderun Colleges, a hotel management institution affiliated with Les Roches of Switzerland.

I'll pass by tomorrow to see if indeed they have started construction on Stamford One.
