I like this tower, though I think that it would look better without the green lighting. It seems to be just a little too flamboyant, especially compared to the drabber buildings in La Defense.

I don't understand this? At first we were told 300m, then 318m, now 308m? Is the 308m measured from the concrete slab?

It's worse than the Heron Tower

Okay then , a little history & summary :

Official documents always referred about a ~300 meters tower without any precise height indicated.
Some fans and french forum users analysed plans of the tower and concluded about an height of 318m but it has never been official.
So , with the project moving forward we finally have an official building permit sticked to the lowrise , and we have the final height of 307.7m

(Thanks to Krapulax for the picture)

Moreover , the project has much evolved during the last year.

Cheers for that Densaga. Much clearer. Some projects get pretty hard to keep track of with the different numbers coming at you. Just look at the Heron Tower

The building permit for the Generali Tower was posted on site and demolition of the building is to start in May.

Won't be iconic nor fantastic but still a good addition IMO

That annex at the base doesn't seem to fit very well with the rest of the building
