You are so conservative , do you want a flat roof again like 90% of La Defense ?

I dont want it anymore and all of the new projects will have a inclined / special roof

Generali in the La Defense renewal Plan :

Thank you for this thread, Densaga!

For my part, I like this tower. His design, although simple, is magnificiently emphasized by the cladding and the top. The top makes this tower dynamic, slim towards the sky! This a "signal" to the 21th century.
For the height, we will see... IMO, it will be 318m, but... we will see, lol.

I can understand why you have enough of flat roofs, but this is really the opposite of that. I think its just too much, but who knows? maybe in real life it will look fantastic

This tower is so different ! I think that it will be well integrated in la Defense. I like the idea of broken crystal.

I love this tower. It's very bold and unique, but IMO, it's not trying to be too modern or tacky like many of the Scandinavian towers are. It motivated this long time lurker to register as I think it's taking some unnecessary flak. If this was built in place of the new version of the Chicago Spire I doubt there'd be any complaints. This is my second favorite tower behind the Burj Dubai.

Good job Paris.... from an American, a Texan in fact.

Ok, ok i admit it. The building looks decent but they need to make a twin off it!!!!!!! It is then logical for the average street person: One tall building "snapped" into two buildings.

Didn't like it at all at first, but now I think it's ok.
But I still like the other projects in La Defense much better.

Here are diagrams that I posted a few months ago in the old thread now superceded by this thread.

These diagrams show the height of the Generali Tower among the tallest skyscrapers in some well known world cities.

Generali Tower among the top 8 skyscrapers of New York City:

Generali Tower among the top 6 skyscrapers of Hong Kong:
