I really love this tower for some reason. It definitely seems dwarfed in the diagram of Hong Kong, and even New York but I think it will fit in well in La Defance. Also I never understood why Tokyo never had more supertalls, especially with such high land values in the early 90's.

seeing this in la defense is going to be stunning.
however I think there is a lot going on at the top, personally enjoy a nice centered spire without the glass shards. but altogether a nice design, its obvious they are symbolizing the BREAKING of old traditions with this tall and modern building. |

After some second thoughts, this building is gonna fit the skyline just ass well ass other buildings do.
Bit weird but it is ok.

Yes, according to the render above, the central spire will be in the shape of a pyramid. According to the architects, the design of the central spire is meant to be reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower. 18 wind turbines will be located in the spire. These will be 5 meters (16 ft) high and 3 meters (10 ft) in diameter. They will produce a total of 270,000 kWh of electricity per year which will be used to light common areas, corridors, rest rooms, and basement levels. Here is a detailed view of the wind turbines which you can also see in the picture posted by Densaga above.
![]() This skyscraper will set a world precedent in that it will not rest on a central core but rather on a lace of reinforced concrete located outside the exterior walls of the tower. This lace will be made up of 140,000 metric tonnes (154,000 US tons) of concrete. Here is a detailed view of the base of the tower showing the concrete lace.
