I Apologize Unionstation!

If the design is NOT a GREAT improvement we shall riot! With molotov cocktails & tear gas too...

BUT on a more serious note the KK proposal really is quite lovely! I just wish they'd do something to bridge the two buildings together. So it would like have the same effect the State House does to the west of the Circle...

Does any one follow me??

^ I disagree, I think it abruptly cuts downtown off. It eliminated the ability to have a nice canyon effect past it, which the Market Square proposals will onlyadd to the canyon effect and invite peole into the eastern half of downtown.

Lol. It's a metaphor...he is merely implying that there aren't that many liberals in Indiana.

I love how the statehouse is with the circle, it is an amazing view! But, it does seem to cut downtown off, hopefully the new hotel will add some life over there. The Kosene design, I am actually glad they dont have some structure over the street, this new development will probably bring some life to the German village, and hopefully that area just south of it.
The Kosene design is very tasteful for Indianapolis, I just hope that the Eastern part has some brick to respect Lockerbie.

Indiana has liberals, but you just dont know it, mainly because the social conservatives have bigger mouths.

(noted) most of these liberals live in Indianapolis or Bloomington!

A Taller JW Marriott?

FROM IBJ: Developers plan to unveil a significantly updated set of plans this afternoon for a JW Marriott convention hotel across the street from Victory Field. For one, the 1,000-room hotel will be taller than the 22 stories originally proposed, said Jeremy Stephenson, the director of development for REI Investments. He wouldn’t say how much taller. “I think what you’ll see the next time is much improved, from a functionality as well as a look standpoint,” he said.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. This will fill a big void on the west side of downtown. Bring on the cranes!

One question, is this all being built at once or in phases?

Unlikely. Some of us don't have to work. Then again, I don't suppose anyone has to work.

Well im glad you have enough time on your hands to be a personal spell checker for a 19 year old kid. Give me your number and I will see if I can have you as my secretary. First, however, I need to really test your abilities. So, I have a hard one for ya, fuc u. (sp?)

This is a forum by the way, so professionalism and spelling are not required. Although even in online forums being decent is, therefore I apologize to all.

Hate to break it to you, but there is no such thing as a "pre-law" major.
