Well that's a troubling development. Apple is already too dominant and becoming increasingly arrogant. They design limited shelf life into products and inflate prices due to the weakness of rivals. Competition benefits consumers. It keeps prices in check, gives us more options, and protects us from gouging.

I've had Apple for 8 years but just about reached my limit with them.

It's less about competition but the market that Apple's cornered. They are basically the only electronic device manufacturer that sells enough to justify physical locations.

I was in Toronto for the long weekend and had to take some shots of one of my favourite projects underway.

I went on a tour of One Bloor yesterday; as you can expect, it was very windy on the 76th floor.

Toronto's skyline is rockin I don't think it's a stretch comparing Toronto's skyline to Chicago's.

marcanadian this pic is from your personal tour of this tower:

For those of us not familiar with Toronto what is the skyline in the far distance? One Bloor looks amazing!

That would be Mississauga. The famous condo towers there are the Absolut, or "Marilyn Monroe" towers...

That's Mississauga, a separate city of about 700,000. There's really no physical separation between Toronto and Mississauga, it's basically one big built up area wrapping around the western part of the lake.

I don't understand? Why do you think so? For me these two cities are sisters or best friends that share much more similarities than other cities I can think of
