TIANJIN | Yan Zhao Building | 378m | 1240ft | 100 fl | Canceled

No more info, sorry. I think it's just proposed. If approved, it's scheduled to be finished by 2010 and will be built in Binhai new area.

Chinese name: 燕赵大厦.

You may pick some more info if you understand Chinese here:

Looks really bulky for its height. Would look better if it were a little more slender.

The base looks tacky but the tower is a good one.

Iff it is for normal bussines work and things like that, it functions prefectly. but the design is simple and straight. Efficiency is the key in this.

The design isnt outdated. It looks good and it does its job. Let there be buildings like this to increase the contrasts between good and "bad" buildings.

This tower is soooo fat. If we couldn't see the floors, I'd say it is around 200-250m only. Should be very interesting with a better cladding.

However, I've heard that this project is being re designed, so...

I think the odd thing is...China usually builds flashy and occasionally tacky buildings. To see this effective corporate "tube" is a change compared to other talls in china.
