Marseille is finally becoming a good city, and not the sh*t hole of France.

This is nice! Le Havre is in need of a makeover anyways. It's not the prettiest city tbh..

I think I can find more. He promotes Paris cost to other cities but I think when we really like his city we don't need to shout it everywhere. His comments are more promotion than anything else. It's very hypocritical.
It does not matter, we will only remind the beginning of the sentence lol.

I'm not promoting Paris at all. I love Nice. Great example of a beautiful sea town. Marseille on the other hand... Le Havre was completely destroyed during WW2 and now the city looks like....

If Marseilles' city center gentrifies like in all other french cities since the 70's, something will have been completely lost in this country and it won't do anything to the people of Marseilles. So better for it to keep its reputation as being "shit" for people like Fro7en, at least it keeps them away (okay not really, since many people are actively trying to gentrify it and push the poor away, but anyways).

The gentrification is different now. 70s was a horror.

Okay, Marseille has a lot to do and we never said the opposite but to be threatened of "shit hole" I think it's too much, we live here everyday so we can judge it better, we know other cities in the world so we can make a better comparison than a person who surely have never been to Marseille. We know all the city's issues better than anybody, city make a lot of effort to reach the quality of life of an European city, we make an effort to update all the city's projects and constructions. Yes we are far to be the best city in the world, in Europe, in France even in our region, but we know it, so comments like this are not constructive and useless, just here to belittle but if that comfort you ...

Now stop polute this thread, the city doesn't need pollution anymore.

But I'm not polluting the thread nor am I saying Marseille is going to be bad forever. If you go back to my previous comment, I said the things that are happening are amazing! Marseille will be great.

You absolutely want to have the last word. There is other ways to say it. A city it's the infrastructure and the people who lives in. You will better choose your words next time even if it started from a good feeling. Now stop.
