No, because the Dutch are actually building big dams and other structures in New Orleans to protect the city from another flood. Just like Rotterdam has similar structures.

I thought there would be 2 more towers of the same size next to new orleans. have the plans changed?

what's that black tower?

instead of two towers of the same size as new orleans, they decided to change it to three lower towers. design of those towers is very nice though. and the black tower is going to be the baltimore tower designed by foster. the tower on the picture is just to point out the location and the expected height as the design hasn't been released yet so there's a big chance it will look completely different.

glad this baby is under contruction. it looks very down-to-earth for a building this big in size (compared to its surroundings). from the renders i do however get the impression that it will be a very polished, classy tower. so now rotterdam has u/c:

128m red apple
165m maastower
158m new orleans

wow, that's almost dubaian for dutch standards soon it will be even more! and this was my 70th post!

Nog wat meer confetti.

Daar moet op gedronken worden

De 1e paal (nou ja, damwand) zit er in, tijd om binnen door te (zuipen) feesten.

Rotterdam is my favourite town in the world, that s my favourite cluster, Alvaro Siza is one of the best architects, this is a 'hell' of a building.

Well, the real work still has to start!

And btw, on picture 8 you can see the Big Boss of this forum, who of course was a VIP guest: Jan!

Guess which of the three it is
