I'm not a fan of any of these proposals but I'll go with Foster, even though I remeber seeing a similar proposal like that for another project.

Well,I'm not one of these. In fact,I hate most of his projects, but there are always exceptional cases.

Sure! But I was not talking about you. It just came to my mind, nothing related to your post, just an exceptional coincidence.

Well... I'd choose Foster's as well, because the other ones just look too simple... or should i say boring?!

Strange... Foster looks the simplest to me, 4 boxes (basically) and one cylinder...

I didn't say you were talking about me.I just wanted to state that well, and your comment was a good opportunity for that

Well... from what I see (and read) in the first post, project #3 (SOM's... not Foster's) is the one with four boxes and a cylinder...

You were not talking about me, but you were answering me, since your phrase "well I'm not one of these" (rheme) cannot stand alone and it's incomprehensible without a previous claim (theme). And since you answered me, I just had to wake you to the reality that you were not the one I was referring to.

A little about plagiarism.

If you combine the top and the spire of the first project of Freedom Tower (by Daniel Libeskind)

[IMG][/IMG]

and the rest part of the last project of Freedom Tower (by Libeskind too)..

..in one, what would you have??

You're quite right! Foster's project!!!

(pic by z0rg)

What do you think about it?

You are right! May be the architect was inspired by these two proposals. Or may be it is just a coincidence.

The plagiarism argument is not valid as Foster's Xujiahui proposal is a million times better than any Freedom Tower proposal. Maybe Foster looked at the Freedom tower proposals, and was inspired to make something better out of the promising pieces, though it is probably just coincidence.

Like the Foster proposal!! And yes, it looks not only a little bit like the Freedom Tower in NY.
