i prefer the foster design its different, SOMs design seems a bit dull and my least favourite of the three proposals

According to Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xujiahui_Tower

Its 460 metres. And this tower is like right next to the jin mao. So if jin mao, SWFC, Shanghai centre and this one are built forming 4 brothers it will look really cool. I think they have new design though: http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=...shanghai-china

(I will look like ground zero at much taller scale)

Xujiahui Tower next to Jin Mao? Xujiahui district is more than 10 km from Lujiazui.

Don't trust Wiki. Why was this thread waken up anyway?

Poor wikipedians, they checked Emporis again.

Reminds me of the Freedom Tower. Looks like an interesting project nonetheless.

You did say to me not to trust emporis around this time as well on Guangzhou thread, but I always thought emporis was reliable. May be you say that based on incredibly slow update not the info themselves.

Just don't trust Emporis. It's not a good source, especially when it comes to projects outside North America and Western Europe.

I'm not sure what you mean. You could hardly question Emporis' choice of Skyscraper Award as it is their subjective opinion.
As a source of skyscraper information however, it is not trustable.

Some projects well above 200m which have been topped out aren't even added. There are also some supertalls which were cancelled like 8 years ago but remain 'approved'. Others above 200m finished 4 years ago are still 'under construction'. They have also several entries for the same project (including 250m+), making you think that they have nothing to do with each other. Etc, etc. Not trustable at all, really.

Because "buildmilehightower" feels it necessary to bump a dead thread after 4 months, just to ask another question that could be easily answered if he would just READ the first page of the thread before posting!!!

Plus, is it really necessary for "buildmilehightower" to make 6-10 posts PER PAGE in ONE DAY on almost EVERY THREAD? come on man you do this day in and day out! It's hard for the rest of us to follow whats going on as we try to read!

Wow, it is far way from Pudong. BTW, the construction site is pretty big.
