I don't think anyone will miss the old one. I think the new one is great, and I don't see it stealing from the London tower at all.

Reconstruction starts:

Looks like an improvement to me. The old one looked very... 70's.

Yeah you can usually tell what's from the 70's, not just buildings, everything has a different vibe so to say...

To get to the point, the old one looked ugly as hell, the new one looks great.

It's a really nice building, but someone deserves a slap for the similarity to The Pinnacle. It looks like it's the same tower an extra side bit attached. Still really nice though.

I always liked the axle-star shaped design. The only thing I disliked was the muddy brown glass. i'm glad the facade is turning that colour.

The tower will not be totally demolished. the structure dans the core will stay .
