i really like this redesign. Obvious question, but i guess this is now the tallest in Paris currently? Much better than Tour Montparnasse having that title IMO

Great sunset pic Jex7844! Is the official height 231m? Emporis state 225m - but what do they know...

This tower yes but some 70 80,s in la defense make it look old.

231m is the right height with the little tip. I think emporis shows the 1 without it.

Many thanks Frankus Maximus . Like Dutchsnookerfan said, the official height definitely is 231m. La Défense is over 60 years old, that's why it has so many old towers...but a few ones will be taken down or facelifted this year (AURORE to be demolished in september to make way for AIR2 ,202m, Descartes being currently transformed, multicolorful new clad...)
The good news is that a second 'Plan de Renouveau' is to be unveiled this year. This second phase of the renewal plan will be aimed at the left hand side of La Défense (Puteaux), with around 7 news towers! It will therefore rebalance the financial district.

Or the left wing will win the presidential elections in 2012 and the second plan will be cancelled out.

That would suck. I'm really excited for those plans. I've been searching through Flickr for photo spots in La Defense. I was about to go in the first week of may but my trip got cancelled. Hopefully I will be able to visit Paris this year, probably this summer or in october. I've also seen a bunch of pictures of this building completely being lit up. Does this mean that it's fully occupied now? Completed?
