They look nice..........Whats going on with the key highway extension???

I've never really understood what exactly they are doing. Will this connect the highway to Tide Point?

Yeah...there is a sign up in font of the Under Armour HQ saying that it will run to there.

Construction costs for the Ritz and SiloPoint are pushing 500million. The next phase will be the Chesapeake Paperboard Co site and further development allong key highway.

Will Silo Point's facade have any color to it? I like the design a lot, but the coloring is kinda drab.

I bet you took those on your way home from work....

Very nice. The NV homes are across the street from my house. My 17 month old son's room is in the front of our house and he has a perfect view of the construction. He loves trucks and is in hog heavan wathcing them work. Its perfrect timing!

Looks like a big "Silo Point" sign will be hanging from the water side of the building...most likely that will add a bit of color. Other than that, the renderings don't give us too much to go by.

Anyone know when the Pinnacle will be started and completed?
Any renderings or info of the Paperboard company project?

You can say that again! It's so bizarre to see these pictures when the last time I saw the place was afer they had demolished the silos. Thanks so much for posting the pictures.

A lot of great projects going on!
I wonder how much $ those McHenry Point homes are going for?

I want to say they recently announced a delivery date for the Pinnacle. I can't remember exactly when it was or where I saw it, but I remember it being much sooner than I would have expected. I think they are supposed to start construction sometime this year. The entire tower will only have something like 40 units in it, and they've been in pre-sale for some time now, so I would imagine a ground breakng is in the near future.

ALso, great idea for a thread, pfd. You don't realize how many great projects are in a single area until you line them all up like that. Pretty soon we'll need to open up one of these for every part of the city.

Speaking of Harborview, the site leaves room for future development next to the Pinnacle along Key Highway. I wonder if the next phase of Harborview has any retail plans?
