I like the water drop design, with the unique golden cladding, but think it would be less efficient in terms of floor area compared to the ttwin towers at the bottom. But I love this and this should be built; at the photo below is that the spire reaching so high into the sky or is light projecting from the tip of the spire? Because if that is all the length of the spire, the main floor containing structure would be very short in height.

BTW it in the photo below the moon looks so tiny

What is the tall tower on the left of the first render, in the background?

A TV Tower in a hill overlooking the city ... with a very steep access road I would add, really really steep.

i would have to disagree on that, the shape is very unique indeed. but it will not be inefficient for floor space, the shape helps alot with the need for Natural light and maximize's the office space with views. unlike the twin towers

The water drop design reminds me of the islamic culture. I certainly say No to this design. Seoul needs a landmark tower that represents Seoul Korea. Please, go back to your drawing board.

What's Islamic about a water drop?

I think that'd be a neat design. But well, it could turn out pretty tacky as well. Especially with a golden facade. They better go for some rather 'orthodox' design, if you know what I mean.

maybe what he meant is that, the water drop shape reminds him of the domes of the mosques. anyway, i like the other design better.

To those who really don't know what a landmark tower is.
This is a picture of the AT&T bat building in Nashville, TN. This building is well recognized as the building of Nashville from miles away from the city. It is not so tall or huge but people can recognize where they are when they see this building.

There was suppose to be an international design contest sometime in november of last year, but the date passed and no news came to pass. Anyhow there have been some recent unrest in Yongsan (the area of the tower) due to the aggressive redevelopment pursued by the government.

The winning design by Daniel Libeskind.

The design was insipired by ancient golden crowns of Korea, though I can't exactly make out the resemblemnce. In any case, this design is MUCH BETTER than the waterdrop design, IMO.

WOOoOw we hav a winner then... I was hoping the water droplet, but this is as good. So this project isnt just a one huge tower but with resembling ini towers around it right?

i never seen such a base before, its twisting from the base... this tower does resemble Busan world business center.
