360 London (First Base Tower) | Elephant & Castle | 134m | 44 fl | On hold

I know this was mentioned in the Multiplex Tower thread but its big enough to get its own seperate thread.

Anyway renderings available in this week's Construction News magazine.

Square tower, mostly glass with vertical white strips. Triangular glass roof features.

Low rise block attached with green roof.

Not sure but Bovis have got the contract already so it seems to be moving ahead quite quickly.

I didn't buy it unfortunately, just had a quick look. It is supposed to have a bit more affordable housing in it than most of the high rise residential schemes we are used to. I think that shows in the ambition of of the design (it isn't).

Oh. Ahh well, I'm sure we'll see it soon

How would you personally rate the design out of 10?

7!

Looked good. Nothing special. Clean, simple and pretty striking.

I don't think I'll expose my dubious taste to the public.

Generally the tower looks fine. Its very simple, looks like a residential tower block but doesn't compare to Multiplex.

It'll be where that red building is to the left of the existing tower on that last photo if it is the park hotel development.

Perhaps a touch bland, but the proportions are nice - plenty of soar. I love the fins at the top.
