Broadgate Tower and 201 Bishopsgate | City of London | 165m/63m | 35/13 fl
Broadgate Tower/201 Bishopsgate
City of London Height: 165m and 63m Floors: 35 and 13 Architect: Skidmore Owings and Merril Developer: British Land Links: http://www.skyscrapernews.com/news.php?ref=162 Webcam 1 Webcam 2 Previous thread Notes: British Land announced they would build this skyscraper, the Broadgate Tower, speculatively (i.e. without a pre-let). It will stand on the northern edge of the City, quite far from the main cluster but still in a prominent location next to the Broadgate Complex. Along with the adjoining 63m building, 201 Bishopsgate, it will contain a vast amount of floorspace, over 850,000 sq ft. The tower is scheduled for topping out in April 2007, with completion in May 2008. Its smaller neighbour 201 Bishopsgate will be complete in February 2008. Current Status: Under Construction! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some recent pics, courtesy of GazKinz -

I was up in Vertigo bar (Tower 42) last night. Broadgate Tower looks slim from that angle, but not tall. Tried taking pics but combination of camera phone, tinted glass and bad weather mean nothing worth posting.

UNESCO and EH have employed a hacker to hack in to all sites, containing reference to tall buildings, and have asked him/her to erase the word toWer...
It will soon be replaced by the word GROUNDSCRAPER
