Last week's pour

Started this morning, still going on, 300 truck loads for 3000 cubic yards ( cy ? )





When the Pump and the conveyor are both full, just dump it straight in !

Tower Crane

Looks like they will erect it today. All the parts are on site along with a BIG mobile crane.

not too bad. Although it doesnt look very unique for that area. Is this tower going to be only offices, or will it be condo as well? Also, this is located by Grand and Clark? I was wondering what was going up in that lot, I go by there all the time.

Oct - 19

Core mat poured last week,

First set of caissons topped (?) this week.



Oct 19th the walls of the core were poured ( 30 truckloads ).



The second set of caissons being topped here - I would have expected something more symetrical. Both of the workers on the left, in white, are standing on caissons.
