#APPROVED: THE GATEWAY TOWERS, RES, 61F + 49F + 48F, 260m (Palm Jumeirah)

We heard of them, they are UC with board and rendering.

deep excavation, piling going on, a mess. plot is massive. really big.

look boring imo. i expected sth iconic.

Its the site to the right of the palm j. bridge (Those towers are nice, but they need to be iconic this is the entrance to the palm j. "the 8th world wonder" atkins ect. could have done better!

the left one reminds me of...

The left tower on the board kinda reminds me of a tower in Ramat Gan city in Israel. It's name is Ayalon Tower. Now, some floor are being added to make it higher. but in the general shape - they are practically the same!

i think that land should be landscaped. or have something really small in terms of height like the opposite side. i would prefer if the roads leading onto the palm was symetrical.

i think its quite silly building a collection of midrises there

Well, i can only post the link again. It shows roughly two tall towers around the entrance of the palm where the project is now and where the Nakheel sales centre was:

http://www.uaejapan.jp/download/0704...-%20Taisei.pdf

375 metres high? Hopefully !

Yes evidences suggest that there is indeed a redesign (as it has become the norm of the day for Nakheel) and the Gateway Towers will be true to their name @376.5 meters tall.

Having Taisei building them, wiill mean a quick progress as in Almas Tower in JLT.

If they build something tall, I think it would look way better if they also built something very similar on the other side, to preserve symmetry.

i doubt they will build 2 such tall twins
this means the nakheel sales center would have to be destroyed
doesn't make much sense now that they have extended it!
