After that monstrosity Atrium 1, each new project, including this one is held in a higher regard as a consequence

True and that's why most people love this project. The entire port praski area is supposed to consist of similar buildings

Yea, that's exactly what you get when you decide to use a project from the 90s. Hopefully Atrium 1 was the last of them. Atrium 2 (U/C) looks somewhat better

Sweet! I love the facade, and the old building was such a lost cause.

Agreed. The old apartment block (and the XIX century Palace) were used to house Russian embassy employees. You can see the insides of this building here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCQAT6-otFY

I like this one much more than the Zaha Hadid.

Looks good. What is the chance that it's actually going to be built? :P

Agree, Zaha Hadid probably forgot that Warsaw is not the capital of UAE. In my opinion if such a famous architect do not consider that project does not match to a surroundings then i would say she is wack...

That is why i think she's a poor architect. MVRDV members also project very extravagant buildings, but unlike Hadid's projects they are really stylish, and the buildings fit to surroundings.

That last project was already shown some time ago, it's not the final design for that site.
