Yeah, its kind of weird, but I like it for some reason, it makes it look like a secret garden

They need to at least open up an axial view corridor from the street to the main historic building in this complex - it's silly hiding it behind a plain wall. A modern version of the Saski Palace colonnade could be incorporated to relieve the weight and mass of this wall and allow such a view:

Great projects, I’ll be visiting Warsaw later this year for the first time since 1998, looks like a whole lot has changed since then!

A new conception for a 200m tower in Warsaw revealed today, close to the Palace of Culture and the Central railway station.

No need to post m2 in every single thread. I still think 2 lines for 2-3mln city isnt that much tbh. Warsaw need atleast 4 or 5 lines. The city is getting bigger and bigger pretty fast...

As far as I remember, Warsaw has a population of 1.7 million ! The underground is important ,but there are other needs as well.

The underground stations look very good. Bright and colourful but not overbearing.

It's really cool seeing the second line open up since the first line was finished just a few years ago (I still remember taking a ride on it the first day), but it feels like there's something missing from the design of the interiors. Dworzec Gdański station had a perfectly modern design ( link : interior ) along with great minimalistic entrances ( link : entrance )
Some like Centrum Nauki Kopernik look just ugly and rushed. I feel like we can never meet the deadlines, and when we finish stuff, it actually seems like it didn't spend enough time in the oven.
Warsaw is constantly facing the problem of having innovators, inventors, inventors and crap city management.

Well, in reality could be, I don’t live in Warsaw anymore therefore, I may argue only based on the official statistics.

According to some studies (e.g. Jakub Bijak, Anna Kicinger. Studium metodologiczne oszacowania rzeczywistej liczby ludności Warszawy. „CEFMR Working Paper”. 2/2007, 2007. ISSN 1732-0631.) during the day around 2,45 mln people spend their time within the city limits, while around 1,95 spend their night in Warsaw. Having in mind that the study is from 2007, probably more than 2,5 mln people spend their day in Warsaw. Depending on the methodology the Warsaw metropolitan area has 2,6-3,1 mln people in it (probably a bit outdated as well).

Seems that recently the population of Warsaw is growing rapidly - e.g. 2012-2013 - around 10k.
