Municipal, also the terrain belongs to City - no chance for this monument to be build on Krakowskie Przedmieście.

The view from that modern office building that went up near Castle Square. Some very lucky people will be working there.

One picture is missing of 130. JanVL obviously didn't read the article before posting.

However these are different locations. Different projects.

I like the residential part, very classy, should fill the gap nicely. But the tower is kinda meh.

Emaar, an UAE company that built among others the Burj Khalifa, is interested in building a new city district of about 20ha with housing, hotels, shops, ... The investment would be worth billions of zloty. The biggest Polish cities are trying to attract the investment, but Warsaw is the most favoured.

Agree. Tower is a crap. Unnecessary shape.

It also resembles megachurches in the United States. I don't like these structures. They just don't look sacred, more like bloated convention centers. I'd prefer if Polish communities continued building in traditional and vernacular styles.

On a sidenote, this is a great collection of contemporary traditional-style churches: Modern Russian Churches

In my city there are almost only modern churches, as it was formed just before the WW2, and I'd prefer that style to all the pseudo-gothic or classical/renassaince/whatever-old-style architecture many other cities did. Even though I'm a religious person I don't think that they should try to be overly grand and look like castles.
