To be honest, I'd prefer to spend the day wandering around town getting pissed! I wont have many opportunities to do that whilst I'm in Leeds. Plus there's plenty of bars in the lineup that I'd like to check out - see if they serve a good cosmopolitan!

Same place - the West Point cafe overlooking the Lumiere site. Is everyone ok with that?

I definitely wont be able to come now. The parents are getting arsey about missing my Aunt's 50th. I'm so annoyed. I'd much rather go with you guys. Make sure you get loads of pictures for me.

Saturday 9th June 2007 4pm Onwards - The Official Leeds Forum Bash

Generally speaking although it's probably best to take the day as it comes, here's an idea of the general route we could follow on the day. I propose we start at Lumiere at 4pm in the cafe at West Point overlooking the site so we can spend some time drooling. I suggest we move anti-clockwise around the city so we can visit The Round Foundry, Bridgewater Place and Clarence Dock during the daytime. Swiftly moving onto the Opal site around dusk and onto the North Bar and Mojo's followed by the Electric Press. Again, nothing set in stone, just the general idea of things.

4pm onwards is still light for at least 5 hours hence the slight change in the meet time. The shopping district is still open at 4pm on a Saturday.

The idea is so that those that can't or don't want to stay out till late to have a drink can still come, the other members that would like a drink wont have to get too pie eyed by going out too early.

i was under the impression it would be walking around leeds in the daytime then drinks in the evening... still have fun. in future i recommend you start early afternoon and then continue into the evening that way people can come along, and go, depending on the times they are free

It seems on here, anyone who doesnt tow the line and agree with the main regulars in saying everything about leeds is wonderful, they are branded a trouble maker. It really is childish. People will have diferent opinions on certain developments springing up, and some people need to appreciate that.

I never expected that everyone would be able to make it. People have family commitments and things which always have to come first.

I'm expecting that we will probably end up with around eight people, which is still a good number.
