Last time I've missed to make some photos from the Viaduct, of lake Balaton! The scenery is amazing...

Today I've taken two of my cousins to the site, and I made some with my mobile phone...

You can see the, first layer of bitumen is already laid.

Ohh sh*t! Its deep!

Havin' a great time!

Progress on the M0 ringroad's northern bridge.

They are adding the concrete body of the second pair of lanes, and the pillars are finished too... Hopefully a nother 365 days, and we going to have a beautiful new highway bridge... Landworks are on schedule too. Unfortunately noone knows, which way the M0 ringroad will continue, yet...

Horvát cég építheti az M7-es utolsó szakaszát
2007. május 4. péntek, 08:06

Nyolc pályázó közül a horvát Hidroelektra Niskogradnija tette a legjobb ajánlatot az M7-es utolsó, még hiányzó, a Mura folyó feletti hidat tartalmazó Letenye-országhatár közötti szakaszának megépítésére - tudta meg a Világgazdaság Reményik Kálmántól, a Nemzeti Infrastruktúra Fejlesztő (NIF) Zrt. elnök-vezérigazgatójától.

A társaság igazgatósága a horvát céget javasolta a nemzetközi versenytárgyalás győztesének.

A kivitelezési határidő a szerződéskötéstől számított 14 hónap. A projekt jövő évi átadásával az M7-es 44 évvel az első, bal pályaszakaszának átadását követően a határig ér el, teljes hossza 245,3 kilométer lesz - írja a Világgazdaság.

A cikket a következő címen érheti el a Menedzsment Fórumon:

http://www.mfor.hu/cikk.php?article=35514

Briefly in english:

Croatian company Hidroelektra Niskogradnija could finish the last section of the M7 highway because their 8 million Euro tender was the best.

They'll have 14 month to finish the 1 km section (216 metre 2*2 laned Mura higway bridge and 800 metre normal highway) after the signing of the contract which will be done this month. So finally in 2008, 44 years after the first landworks the M7 highway is going to be finished with a complete 245,3 kms in lenght....

Great shots there in posts 207 & 210. Just wondering, how were you able to gain access to a construction site? Wouldn't it be closed off to the public for safety reasons? Aren't they concerned about being sued if someone is hurt, or even killed on the site?

Nagyon Örülök, hogy magyarul írsz, bár angolul is megérteném!

Hogyan fogják építeni? A Gyúrcsány-kormány természetesen csak rombolni tud... Át a dombokon és erdőkön...

Thank You!
You are right, the site is closed off to public, but its only the question of communication and I'm a transportation engineer...

Governmental decision that the M6-M60 highway from Dunaújváros to Pécs must be finished by March of 2010, so works are going to/must start this fall.

Interesting info, that between Szekszárd and Pécs (79 kms), developers must build 9 different size viaducts. This means the Viaduct at Köröshegy on the M7 highway won't be the only highway viaduct in Hungary!

Summary only in Hungarian:

I've taken some pics of the M3 - M0 highways on my way to Újpest...

Where all begins, first metres of the M3 highway heading east towards cities like Miskolc, Debrecen and Nyíregyháza, ending (in the future) at the ukrainien border...

The u/c intersection of the M0. This is where the northern section starts and the eastern will join in when finished in December...

Heading west on the M0, towards the Danube...

The new u/c northern Danube highway bridge and the 3,2 kms highway...

Observation office of the U/C northern Danube highway bridge...

Long way to walk...

Still walking...

Almost there...

The observation center on the Danube...

Our new U/C Danube bridge...

Pics from the land when I finally got back from the boat...

of my mobile phone's camera... Outcome... Small pics...

Anyway! I give You the new Danube bridge of the slowly developing M8 highway at Dunaújváros...

The highway connection between Main road 51 and the M6 highway is almost finished. Opening ceremony on the 30th of June, this summer.

Nice pix! Qtya, as you live in Budapest, could you please take photos of the M1 and M7 motorways, where they are united? I'd be extremely happy to see Ljubljana on those signs there.
