When began to build section M3 main road 49 - Vásárosnamény: 11.9 km? I heard this section was in tender not for along time ago. Is it 2X2 section?

Ikarus - the best (trolley-)buses ever! Nothing compares to them

BTW, how looks the traffic on M31/M0 at friday afternoon according to road works? I'll go there on 24th June (I need to get from M3 to M7) and I consider if would be better go through the city center or rather use M0.

well, a friday afternoon can be tricky to go through the city if you don't know how to avoid traffic, but M0 south can be a disaster if there is an accident or something. So it's sort of a gamble, if you want to go through the city i suggest you look at different routes before, so you don't have to follow just the signs and gps (which will probably say the same as signs, but there are other ways)

Well, I went through the center plenty times, but always by other route. The signage is from my point of view really confusing. On some places is missing.

Three years ago failed my GPS On Kacsóh Pongrác út it said "Keep on left lane" but I had to stay on middle line - left line goes to north, dir. Vác, SK.

Last summer were some works in downtown and I was forced to turn off from the route recommended by GPS (Hungária krt.-Kerepesi út-Erzs. híd-Hegyalja út). Of course I got lost (my crazy GPS always wanted me to turn about 180° and go through closed street). After hour on traffic jam I luckily recognized the Rákóczi út so I was again on recommended route

So therefore I hesitate whether use the M0 or downtown Are there any works or closures on streets Hungária krt., Kerepesi út, Rákóczi út?

Central Budapest is an ever-changing labyrinth, so unless you know central Budapest very well, I recommend taking the M0.

M31 - M0 is a good choice if there's no accident in the southern section - which unfortunately is a rare situation.

Quite a lot of trucks!
How developed is RO-LA infrastructure in Hungary? Why do they not use it?

I've a question.
Do you know anything about the construction of the M0 ring road of Budapest from M2 to M1 (north-western part)
Have you already started the tender / construction and when it is expected to open?

m2 to nr11 is operational

nr11 to nr10 has been designed, construction will not start until 2016 at best

nr10 to nr1/m1 is in preliminary phase, not an icecreams chance in hell that construction could start before 2020
