Both sections (M1-main 51 and M6-M7) should be opened by the end of the year basing on the stage the constructions are in at the moment....

index.hu made a summary about the extension of M0 South:

Section between M1-M6: 6,6 km, 10,9 billion HUF (39,6 million EUR), deadline 3rd quarter 2011. This doesn't seem feasible, since the contractor is only just preparing to lay the concrete surface. The layout of the median and the correction of interchange branches began in July. The brdges are ready. Meanwhile, the construction of supporting walls, noise barriers, drainage system and communication network is going on.

Section between M6 and #51: 11 km, with 2 bridges (over Danube and a shorter one over the Soroksár-branch of the Danube), 34 billion HUF (123,7 million EUR), planned to be completed by fall 2012. Construction started at the end of 2009. Works are going on on both bridges.

Section between #51 and M5: 6 km, fully new track to connect the M0 South to M0 East at its endpoint at M5. Cost: 9,7 billion HUF (35,3 million EUR). This section should have been finished by November 2010, but the contractor went bankrupt. The new contractor plans to finish the construction by the end of this year. Now the road surface is being built.

A picture of the smaller bridge:

That wasn't the idea (comparing HU with RO). I just expected HU to have more, I thought they had a bit under 2000.

What's the font used on Hungarian road signs, and is it available on the internet?

I mean this one:

It appears like Arial, but not quite.

are you sure? I've found this for Franklin Gothic Medium:

If you look at the numbers, it's not even similar to those on the signs.

You're right, the typefaces are 80% correct only.

I think Hungarian typefaces are unique, a mixture.

The smaller modification of the German Deutsches Institut für Normung 1451 type is the Hungarian:

So DIN1451H or KTSzB-M (Közlekedési táblák szabványosított betűtípusa Magyarországon)

I think our font is more or less ok, but the accents should be changed. The two points on Öö and Üü should be closer to each other, while the accents should lean to the right (Áá, Éé, Íí, Óó, Őő, Űű), just as in the original Mittelschrift. It would look better, and would be more obvious, since now it is easy to confuse ö-ő and ü-ű on the signs. KTSZB-M sounds like a cool name for this font

Oh yes those damn accents in the hungarian grammer and important. I always tell an example to my foreign friends like Méz,Mez. Almost the same but very different.
