End of july. The other section has the same deadline - as far as I can figure it out from the poor Hungarian the article was written in. Opening is probably the end of september.

Would that mean anything for driving from M5 towards M1?

Sure. M0 between M5-M1 will be 2x(3+1).

I meant, when will it be best to use M0 and not risk to get stuck in huge traffic jams?
The last times I drove that route, I went through Budapest

It was my understanding that works on the M0 between M1 and M7 had stopped and that at least for the time being this section would remain 2x2

True. There is a real estate development there that has gone bankrupt. But it is just a short section.

Quote from BBCápa:

M0 „M6”-„”51”, 2*3 extension/// 13/07/15

M0 „51”-„M5” brand new///13/09/15

Also: when they open the extended half of M6-51 in July they will close down the old half to renew it, and the September deadline refers to both sections opened in full capacity. So that means 2x(3+1) all the way from M5 to M7, that is, no more jams from September.

Precisely. So M0 between M5-M7 will be 2×3(+1) in this year, between M1-M7 remains the current layout.

when they open the extended half of M6-51 in July they will close down the old half to renew it... what do you mean by that ? the old half ? so even though it opens it will still be 2x2 until september ?
