What do you plan to start after finishing M0? I guess that some cash will be available for other projects after finishing this one

Hello guys! Szia! I need your help.. where to park a car for free in Budapest tomorrow? I was thinking about Mexikoi út, Metro station.. not sure if that area is safe. I just want to park somewhere close to city center, for free and be sure it is safe place. Thx!

2-3 years ago I had to go to Budapest quite often by car. I had to leave my car close to the city-center, and I found a nice deal: I parked my car here (in front of that OMV petrol station). Those parking spaces belong to the petrol station (you can see that rope that "protects" the parking spaces) and are not taxed by the city parking system. Instead, you have to go to the workers of that petrol station and leave them 1-2-3 € (in forint, depending on how much you will stay there). It's like a small bribe, but it's efficient.

The next larger chunk is probably M86, which is between Győr-Szombathely.

As JF says, today you can park for free anywhere, but if you choose so please feel free to bribe the needy.

Btw, nice location you are at.

That parking lot is safe and is free. However, on weekends parking is free almost everywhere in Budapest .

I think you mean this. Good.

I understood that there are some (legal) problems with Berettyóújfalu-RO border.
On the other side, I don't think that this segment is a priority for Hungary now. Do you know something about this?
And the last question: are there any serious plans to build something towards Romania in the near future? Other parts of M4?
Thanks

I wonder if you can get less than 5 m. € per km.

Are there still big problems on motorways in Hungary? It seems I will have to make an urgent drive home to Timisoara. Planning to leave tomorrow after work, stay somewhere in the middle over night and resume on Friday morning.

I've read in Wikipedia that M-15 (connection with Slovakia) is not a motorway (2x2), but in google maps it appears like a free motorway. How is that road? I search photos of them, but I don't found.

M15 is entirely a two-lane road.

There are no problems concerning the Berettyóújfalu-RO border. The legal problems are with the connecting M35 Berettyóújfalú-Debrecen section.

Yes, this is top priority for the Hungarian government.

Basing on the press release from the National Infrastructure Developer, the widened M0 between M6 and Main road 51 will be inaugurated some time between the 26th of June and the 30th of June.

The newly built stretch of the M0 bypass between Main road 51 and M0 eastern sector will be inaugurated by the end of August.

Awesome ... good thing to happen this summer season. Was it something with repair or repaving of the old lanes or will it remain 2x3 the whole summer ?
