Do I need matrica-vignette at M15 with 3,5t private car? It is not clear according to traffic signs.

No idea what kind of signs are there, but M15 in whole length is free to use for cars up to 3.5t.

Thanks. It seems to be logical as just after intersection with M1 there is a sales point. On some traffic signs, the mandatory is repainted by blue (de facto removed) on some it is still there.

The motorway M15 and the M1 section between the junction with M15 and national road 86 should be still free of charge for cars up to 3,5t. (not so for trucks and buses)

http://www.motorway.hu/Toll-tariffs/Toll-free-sections/

The tolled motorways there are the M1 between the junction with M15 and Austrian border (and certainly the motorway M1 behind Mosonmagyarovar) and the motorway D2.sk between the border in Rajka and the juction with the D4.sk in Jarovce.

As for the Hungarian "e-Matrica" there is the sales point at former border crossing in Rajka/Rusovce and there is also rest station on M1 in Mosonmagyarovar (Mosoni pihönehöly)....It might be also the option to buy the Hungarian label.....

It is not on agenda for now.

Btw M35... Farmers lost their lawsuit, so construcion of the Debrecen - Berettyóújfalu section can be started in the foreseeable future.

The shorter one. That detour has no sense at all.

But what about Berettyóújfalu-RO border? I understood that was also a priority. It may be an incentive for the Bors-Suplacu de Barcau section.

It seems to me that főút 3 could easily be widened to a 2x2 expressway, at least from the Slovak border to Encs. Local roads for slow traffic already exists in most areas.

it's not ready to upgrade, but since AADT is lower than 5000, it's not necessary. I think priorities should be:

1. reconstruction of badly damaged road near Hernádszurdok
2. 2km of M30 near border
3. bypasses of Forró and Csobád
4. M30 from Miskolc to Halmaj roundabout

HU-GO

The 2014 projected toll revenue from the new HU-GO truck toll system is projected to be 150 billion HUF, or € 500 million. If that figure is correct, Hungary is much more succesful in getting toll revenue from trucks than the Czech Republic, where the 2012 revenue was less than half that. And the system cost of the CZ system is very high, so net revenue is even smaller.

How are the weather conditions usually after Christmas (exact date is 29.12)?
I'm specially interested in the route M70-M7-M5-M43.

What about this "shortcut" to bypass Budapest and M0? Google Maps says only 13 minutes slower
