Which motorways and expressways are u/c now?

M43: Mako – Nagylac 12 23.1km (March 2013 to September 2014) – projectmap
M85: Csorna-East – Enese 2 6.0km (? to 2014) – ? – map
M85: Rabapatona – Györ (M1) 2 6.8km (? to 2014) – ? – map
M86: Szombathely – Vat 12 9.2km (September 2009 to 2014) – ? – map
M3: Vaja/Mateszalka – Vasarosnameny 12 11.9km (June 2013 to late 2014) – projectmap
M86: Szilsarkany – Csorna-East 12 12.5km (? to summer 2015) – ? – map
M86: Szeleste – Hegyfalu 12 7.5km (? to October 2015) – ? – map
M86: Hegyfalu – Szilsarkany 12 33.4km (? to summer 2016) – ? – map
M4: Abony – Törökszentmiklos 12 28.9km (2013 to 2016) – projectmap
M60: Keszü – Pecs 1 1.8km (late 2013 to ?) – ? – map

1 = 1st carriageway
2 = 2nd carriageway
12 = 1st + 2nd carriageway

Is that list complete and correct? I haven't found the project pages for the expressway projects and I am not sure if the available beginning and completion dates are correct.

except Szombathely-Vát section, M86 will not open earlier than 2016. neither will M85. i dont think they have already begun constructing these roads, but i am not sure.

i just realize we have nothing to open in 2015 :-( (hopefully some widenings at least)

Well, the source of u/c projects is Falusi's map. I've found the beginning and completion data on wikipedia. I've no idea if the list is correct (that's why I asked you in this thread).

I've tried to collect the informations of the beginning and completion dates.

M43: Makó – Nagylak 12 23.1km (October 2012 to September 2014)
M85: Csorna-East – Enese 12 6.0km (June 2013 to 30 June 2015)
M85: Rábapatona – Győr (M1) 12 6.8km (June 2013 to 29 May 2015) the contract has been already signed on May
M86: Szombathely – Vát 12 9.2km (September 2009 to mid 2014)
M3: Vaja/Mátészalka – Vásárosnamény 12 11.9km (May 2013 to late 2014) the contract has been already signed on March
M86: Szilsárkány – Csorna-East 12 12.5km (June 2013 to 28 June 2015) the contract has been already signed on May
M86: Szeleste – Hegyfalu 12 7.5km (October 2013 to October 2015) the contract duration was given in 23 months, so october seems to be correct
M86: Hegyfalu – Szilsárkány 12 33.4km (October 2013 to summer 2016) the contract duration was given in 36 months, but I read 2016 summer everywhere
M4: Abony – Törökszentmiklós 12 28.9km (September/October 2013 to 9 September 2016) start date is September/October because the contracts to different sections were not signed in the same time
M60: Keszü – Pécs 1 1.8km (November/December 2013 to mid 2015) I didn't find exact informations about when the contract was signed but it wasn't in mid November and it was already signed in mid December, and the contract duration was given in 17 months.

I wasn't able to take any pictures of it, though I can confirm, that M85 Csorna - Enese and M85 Rábapatona - M1 sections are under construction on almost all of it's length. East of Csorna construction site is on both sides of the old road, so I think that the NE and SE bypass of Csorna for route 86 is also included in this project. Nice to see it under construction.

Recently I did two trips into Hungary and I have a very good feeling of it, few remarks follow:
1a) Rajka (M15) - M1 - M0 - M51 - M5 - Hösök tér
- M15 lacks second carriegway but the road is in acceptable condition and there are some places for overtaking with good sighting distanc
- M1 is generally very good with some problematic sections near Budapest
- widened M0 is nice dirve and a huge improvement, though I still lack the small section between M1 and M7, hopefully it will begin shortly
- M51 is another remaining section of old 2+2 w/o shoulder layout and serves as a memento of old layout between M7 and M5
- driving in Budapest on 29.12.2013 was very pleasant, I can also recommend the parking lot at Városliget, thanks for the tip agan

1b) Városliget - M3 - M0 - route 11 (Szentendre - Esztergom)
- M0 north is quite curvy but the Megyeri bridge is amazing piece of architecture to see by night with all those lights
- route 11 is very calm and slow road through towns on the banks of the Danube river, I can only recommend it as a sightseeing route (Szentendre, Visegrád, Esztergom)

2) (A) - Sopron - Csorna - Győr - Route 14 - (SK)
Still a lot to do here, though construction of M85 between Csorna and Győr is ongoing; roads are in acceptable conditions but with no bypasses (except Enese and some sort of bypass at Sopron). There is an interesitng junction of routes 84 and 85 http://goo.gl/maps/MpPqw - at grade but somehow advanced in terms of separation of traffic directions and ensuring of sight distances

Is there a recent map showing current motorway status, and soon to be opened?

When is the missing section from Mohács to Croatian border (toward Osijek) planned for completion?

Thanks.
Any proposed or planned dates of completion? Or does it depend on economy, demand, politics?

So this means M4 Motorway between Abony and Fegyvernek (with a new bridge over the Tisza river) is officially U/C.

All three. But it will help if the Croats get to the border.

Szolnok seems to have pretty decent southern bypass with grade separated junctions. Why are they building another bypass instead of improving M4 route near Budapest, where traffic is probably much higher?

because section Budapest-Cegléd will most probably be realised from Hungarys own resources, since no EU money will be available for this project. that region faces disadvantages in the distribution of EU fundings, because in EU terms its more developed than any other region in Hungary, and therefore is handled separetely from the rest of the country.

M0-Cegléd (48,3 km) and Cegléd-Abony(17,8 km) sections are under preparation and construction is planned to begin in 2016. It will be financed solely by the state so don't be surprised if the consctruction will be postponed year after year.

Number of accidents on road 4 are high all along to the state border(u know romanian transit route ) thus motorway is needed to improve safety.
