So now some few shots from national road no. 57, stretch from M6 to roundabout with nat. road no. 57 (near Mohacs):

In roundabout I took first exit. Straight somebody could reach Mohacs.

Very close to border

To not to stand in the village of Udvar, the trucks must wait for permission to access to the border just before Udvar:

PS. Shots from croatian side will be posted in croatian tread - roads no. D7, D2, A5, A3 - so I invite you soon

Some countries ban trucks from anything but the two right-most lanes. Austria recently introduced this.

That sign I encountered when entering from Hungary recently, it also included the message in Hungarian.
But well, truckers might still continue to think "no plaintiff, no judge" if in a hurry. Let's see ...

Using the leftmost lane is forbidden for trucks in Hungary (6-22h). Even in 2+2 lane motorways (so actually they are not allowed to overtake at all).

I think it is okay. Never understood what motivates a truck driver to overtake a truck ahead (while the overtaking manoeuvre takes 5 minutes), merge behind another one and then drive there for next 30 minutes. The only explanation is: he want to read another captions and names on a trailer of a truck ahead

No, its not okay. Unlike car drivers, truckers have several very good reasons to be in a hurry: driving time over -> no free parking lot -> horrible fee; crazy traffic operator calls him all the time why he is late again -> his job is at stake. These guys actually work there

Also, they do pay for using the motorway, so basically they would have the same right to overtake as any other motorist. However, overtaking on 2x3 roads is a bit to much for my tolerance too.

I don't think so. You are right if the slower one drives 79 km/h and the faster one 80 km/h. But it's very common that a truck for some reason drives significantly slower than other ones. And you see 25 trucks in a row, 24 of them gaining huge delay.

What I usually see is one or more trucks driving 80 +/- 2 km/h and another passing it or them one or two km/h faster, during which a big logjam of cars often backs up.

I guess this problem will go away within about 10 years as driverless self-driving trucks take over. They won't care about passing each other.

Yes, but having 25 trucks in row driving at 90 kph in right lane it would take whole M5 motorway to get from let's say 25th place to 5th place.

And if all out of 25 trucks were "racing", the result would be really doubtful :-)

edit: the situation is obviously fairly different when there was a small and weak maintenance car in way ;-)
