There is some new imagery in Google Earth dated 21 April 2015 that shows M86 under construction near Répcelak.

There should be many expressway and motorway openings in the near future:

M85: Rabapatona – Györ (M1) 6.8km (June 2013 to May 2015) – ? – map
M85: Csorna-East – Enese 6.0km (June 2013 to June 2015) – ? – map
M86: Szilsarkany – Csorna-East 12.5km (June 2013 to June 2015) – ? – map
M60: Keszü – Pecs 1.8km (January 2014 to June 2015) [1st c/w] – ? – map
M43: Mako – HU/RO border 23.1km (October 2012 to 15th July 2015) – projectmap
M86: Szeleste – Hegyfalu 7.5km (October 2013 to October 2015) – ? – map
M86: Hegyfalu – Szilsarkany 33.4km (October 2013 to Summer 2016) – ? – map

Are the expected opening dates still up-to-date? Does anyone know which day the first section will be opened?

All I know for sure is that although the road is ready, M85 Rabapatona-M1 is not going to be opened in May, but maybe end of June.

Reason: there was simply no interchange built on the western side of Enese bypass, and it connects to road 85 in an ordinary Y-intersection. This interchange is currently being reconstructed until mid-June, and the road will be put into service all the way to Kony after that (not Rabapatona).

Yes, I read about a missing i/c but was not sure in detail. That's the only info I could find.

@rybana1: Well, you are new here... What's your source?

Yes, that's crap. But you'll soon have 5 posts, won't you?

You're from Slovakia. Have you read the info in Hungarian newspaper?
Have you recently been on-site at M86?

If you have any info about Slovakian roads, you could post there....

Yes, that's right. According to the local newspaper, the M1-Kony section of the M85 will be opened in mid June. The Csorna bypass (M85/86) by the end of September 2015. Guest in the opening ceremony: Mr. János Áder, president of Hungary

Well, this is my third post, so 2 more and then I can send it to you via private message

yes, I uploaded it for you to this slovakian website
you should re-write the captcha into the bold rectangle and wait 30sec
then you should press the button 'STIAHNI SÚBOR' for download

It's a blank page with just a header and horizontal navigation. There's no rectangle or anything else for entering anything and there's no button. But a nice sentence "PÍŠETE DIPLOMOVKU? BAKALÁRKU? SEMESTRÁLKU?" which is not translated by Google nor Bing translators.

Why do you not provide the direct link to the Hungarian web site?

But when I talked to people in Hungary and asked them what the M stands for as everyone seems to think it is obvious that M means Motorway and nothing else

But really not. Britain and the british things were never model for the Hungarian infrastructure planning in the 20th century. For example the communist highway standard was a simply translate of the German highway standards. And the "M" is also not Russian origin from the Магистраль!

But in Russia it is not just motorways named M. In Hungary M only for Motorways, just like Britain. So again it seems these explanations more to meet the anti-Western policies. But to the person who came on motorways in Hungary would be called M actually had looked at precisely the UK
