I have done it like that for around 10 years. No problems and my shield remains nice. IMO, the official description is overkill seriously. It is the holes that you puncture that matters the most.

In my opinion, that would be fair since you cannot use it by more than one car at the time. Of course, entire system in which the toll is not paid per km is unfair IMO.

The same is with Croatian ETC. You can use it in more than one car.

It is not only unfair, but it is also illegal, irrespective of how many years people got away with doing it
Electronic toll has nothing to do with that.

the real fast internet and camera revolution is part of the last "smartphones" years and fast changing, now create a new sticker system where nothing is existing would be a terrible decision

for example i know my country austria at the start in 1997 it was the only real effective solution, because the system you have to create years before that you have an operation solution at the start, after introduction it take years to develop a camera system that can detect if you have a correct vignette sticked, it was an open secret that urban areas wasnt controlled and cant be controlled during the rush hour, for the future in austria end 2018 electronic vignettes will be introduced, you buy it at a shop and they put your licence plate number in a database and nothing have to be sticked anymore, the sticker will stay as existing solution, for people dont want registrate their lplate

No. Actually I'm sure it will not be closed in 25 years. The western section would be extreme expensive and would damage the envorinment heavily.

Those mountains are too big for a Hungarian tunnel!

Tunnel solution in Hungary:

And the Buda Hills:

This is too high simply for tunnel building at us...

I mean that short branch to Slovakia. Why does Čierna nad Tisou need a motorway from Hungary?
