it seems like contracts for M30 Miskolc - Tornyosnémeti were signed and deadline is 19.8.2021

I don't like those "Matrica" signs. NIF wants foreign passenger cars back in Tornyosnémeti and Hidasnémeti?

I think that's just a general information at the border. I didn't see any indication that you need a vignette for that 1.7 km, in fact there's a crossed-out sign for vignettes when you enter the M30 in direction Miskolc (at the interchange Tornyosnémeti, not at the border).

what is the general rule, when you enter the expressway and see the expressway sign without additional table (time 0:46 and 2:20 )? Do you need matrica?

Only one thing is clear to me, when you drive from the village Tornyosnémeti and you want to use few 100 meters to connect to the R4, you don't need matrica, because there is (badly visible) sign behind Kijárat sign at 2:39 indicating no matrica is needed

I like that signage for Tornyosnémeti-exit begins on Slovakian territory. I dont recall having seen anything like that before.

Will the R4 connect to M30 with 2x2 lanes? They need to move only some concrete blocks...

Why is there on the Slovakian side, right after the border (in both directions), an improvised parking area instead of 2 driving lanes per direction?

And on the Hungarian side, driving towards south, at the end of the current new section, there doesn't seem to be space reservation for the future continuation to south of M30. That bridge is definitely too narrow and allows only for 1+1 road. See at 1:44.

That parking area is temporary, proper resting area is under preparation. There is even sign for that on hungarian side - Milhost pihenőhely (at 03:00)

If there is no additional table under the expressway or motorway sign then you do not need matrica. The road is free in that case. You can see an info table (time 0:52) which contains the summary of rules regarding charged setction of roads in Hungary.


For passenger cars the general rule is quite simple. Signs of the charged section of motorway or expressway are the following:




By the way what the situation is with R4 it is charged already. Is it possible to left it without payment at that point on the picture below or my last chance is only before the "Kijárat" of the M30 at time 2:37?

Are any plan or map available for constuction of this proper resting area at Milhost? Is the schedule also known? I can't find any news or information about it.
