Try renaming into "Motorways.kmz"

I've tried it and works You have to wait a minute then enter 3 letters given, then the download window pops up. Or any suggestion where shall I upload it?

This is pretty cool! Can you post a link on a tutorial on how to do this? I've noticed that you only used straight lines for non-existing sections. Is it possible to also use curves?
Also, some of the planned routes are a bit far from where they are planned (by 3-10 km) - I've only checked M49 (which is planned to hit the Romanian border south of the existing national road 49) and M4, which will hit the Romanian border a bit more north (at Nagykereky).

Also, do you take requests for additions to the map? :P
(As I said somewhere else) I'd like to see a plan for a northern shortcut between M3 and M1, approximately on the route Hatvan - God - Dorog - Tata.

I've no tutorial link. I've made it with the tool "Add Path". It is not difficult at all. If you look closer, you'll see that the whole thing is made of lines. The shorter lines you make, the nicer the curve is. I haven't found accurate plans for M49 and M4, that can be cause of differences.

You can make as many additions as you want
Your supershortcut will hardly ever become reality. It would need a new Danube bridge and a 15-20 km long tunnel under the Pilis mountains... I don't think the traffic figures will need it, especially when the M0 Western sector is finished.

Great pictures! I like snowy pics.

Can you buy E-vignettes on that second to last picture?

That motorway looks beautiful. How easy is it for an English speaking traveller to understand signage on roads in Hungary? Some of those pictures seem to have signs in English and others don't. I'm mostly wondering because I'd like to travel in Europe sometime (it won't be for at least a few years, though) and for me motorways would be one of the major attractions, so I'm just wondering how easy it would be to understand the signs.

i didnt download it, because i have my own drawing, but if the lines are very slim (1pt) then they tend to disappear
make the lines wider

The signage uses symbols, which are the same in all countries in Europe. So if you know the European signage, you won't face any difficulties (I don't know how different it is to the Australian signage). Signs referring to settlements outside the country are always bilingual.

There are some stretches never seen before. Like M100 (between m6-405) or M67.
Good job!

European countries use same pictorial signs (more or less). Don't expect English language on roads in non-English countries, except in some cases. If you know European pictorial signs, then you know signs in Europe.

thx @BND for uploading/making the google earth map

as far as i can judge, its an approxmation of the long term
i have no doubt, that there will eventually be a similar network, and also no doubt that it will slightly differ from what is laid out now, but thats natural

for example M44 now seems like will be a full motorway
