How do you get 130 km/h at 3200 RPM? Most petrol cars would be 4000 + then...

I have driven a sedan like this (1.6 VTI), but in gold color years ago... ohh you made me miss it very much... Brings back the god old days... Great car! I envy you!

BTW.: What do you have against good old DIESELs? What were you trying to say with that "Hell no!"

well, we are at the dawn of the electric car (whatever the source will be, hydrogen or otherwise)

the days of the internal combustion engine are numbered, even at the racetrack the hydrogen powered electric car will one day be faster than petrol

but diesel? NEVER

the petrol car will be transformed to something horseracing is today

diesel will go the way of the steam engine

I think the official capacity estimations dont take the following distance of trucks into consideration (it is useless for other vehicles). Even if they keep 50-100 m following distance, that wont be used. This lowers the capacity of the road drastically. If a truck is 25m long, that means 125m is "lost" due to 1 single truck.

you dont have to invent the spanish wax, it has been invented already...

AADT is counted in vehichle UNIT which means that a bus or a truck is counted as 2,5 unit taking into account that these vehicles are longer and more sluggish than a passanger car...

(and the number I've mentioned earlier- 40-50k - was counted in vehicle UNIT...)

diesel is better where you need large torque and long lifetime... (trucks, industrial machinery)

No, the AADT is the Annual Average Daily Traffic, which means all traffic. The numbers usually come with a heavy traffic percentage. They usually do not recalculate it to automobile equivalents, or do they in Hungary?

in hungary the traffic statistics give two main numbers:
- the number of vehicles
- the number of vehicle units
(and of course many sub-numbers representing many vehicle categories...)

I'am always take the latter into account, cause it shows the real volume...

(and it's easier to remember only one number than a number and a percentage value and easier to compare volumes... )

Yeah, but it's not really useful to compare to other countries...

Do you guys know exactly what is the speed limit on MO between Main road 4 and M3? I was driving around 11O km/hs, and police where making pics of the speeders around the future MO-M31 junction... I'm not sure...
