Construction of Enclave subdivision in full swing: developer

ANGELES CITY -- The Enclave, the most ambitious development project to be undertaken so far in this city in terms of design and cost, is now in full swing as massive efforts have been undertaken to finish the posh subdivision by September this year.

Delfin Lee, Globe-Asiatique president who is gaining the reputation as the Donald Trump of the Philippines, said the project would be finished as announced during an interview on cable Channel 3.

Lee said Globe-Asiatique, together with five other contractors including PCS, JEB, ERR Construction, ET Builders and Jagnosten Corporation, works on shifts from 7 a.m. until 10 pm daily including weekends to be able to meet the schedule.

"We have some 500 people working in the construction site. Twenty dump trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, pay loaders, graders, compactors, a Bobcat and water trucks are also being utilized," Lee said.

"We made a commitment to the people of Angeles City and Pampanga, and we are standing by it to finish The Enclave in September just in time for the La Naval Fiesta celebration," he added.

The Enclave is a modern, American inspired subdivision with a commercial area for high-end establishments including restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and others, seen only in the finest places in Metro Manila to meet the exacting taste of the Kapampangans and their guests, according to Lee.

"We are giving the people of the city and the province an alternative to Balibago, which is the city's premier entertainment district," he added.

Now dubbed as the city's Forbes Park, The Enclave project will also finish 100 units of luxurious first class houses coming in nine designs sold as condominiums to foreigners and Filipino migrants in the area, Lee said.

Currently, Globe-Asiatique is also building the GA Tower 2 but its latest project is GA Sky Suites, which include a semi-circular residential building, an 18-storey curvilinear corporate town, as well as two-floor commercial podium that will house various stores, restaurants and other services, he added.

Lee said the subdivision will have at least 500 lots which are already available for the public. Some nine designs of residential houses are also available.
