Is this going to be taller than the buildings next door?

Thanks for the photo importing tips Taller. MintoSkyy will be taller than the apartments on either side. I think the 1 apartment immediately north is around 15 stories, and this one will be 25.

minto skyy - whoops
i saw the ads, i checked out the website, i was intrigued. yesterday i went to visit the site. yikes! i simply can't understand why anyone in their right mind would pay anything close to those prices to live in that building in that neighborhood. i'm sure the view will be great but you wont be living in the view. you will be living in a very unattractive area crammed with brutal projects that are beyond gentrification. i roamed the neighborhood extensively and it just kepy getting worse. there are so many excellent projects in toronto right now that i am certain this one will prove to be a very poor investment. no one with money and sense will ever consider that location. my money and i wouldnt spend one night there. what were you people thinking?

Oh well, lots to choose from. Each to their own.

SBR, am wondering where you live now? Perhaps you have a different perspective on inner city living? Just thinking about your comments. You make it seem like this location is like some kind of hell hole. Beyond gentrification, what's that all about? About 5 minutes walk from the subway, and one of the best stretches of the Danforth aint too bad at least for me.

Must be talking about the few bad eggs on Cosburn. Other than that, this area is great. My favorite is the building at the corner of broadview and Gamble i believe. "Marlester Manor", bizarre choice for a name. |
