You re right, the last part is a bit too much, but I expect a lot of media coverage when it s finished, and the interior "shines" in concert...

Did a harbour tour around 15 years ago and I was really disappointed how crappy all looks. Doing it now would be a whole new experince.

Are those black edges of the windows going to stay?
In the renderings they were white and less prominent.

The black edges emphasize the grid structure of the facade. That makes it look much more conventional than the "white sail" of the renderings IMHO.

I haven't seen it in nature though, just judging by the pictures.

Amazing pictures. The view is spectacular.

My own town of Rotterdam can take a few lessons from the developments here, especially the ambition level and the quality of the architecture.

One of the greatest yet least talked about project in Europe at the moment.
As soon as it's anything phallus-like and 300 meters tall you get dozens of pages of "AWESOME!", but here... very little attention.

I will take my son to his first opera in Paris (Opera Garnier); the second will be Hamburg.
