Btw, after a survey among European business people, the most ugly city in Europe seems to be Warsaw, Poland.
Agree, a terrible city indeed. So, just to underline this fact, they still rise more skyscrapers there, one by one.
I`m prety sure it has something to do with the skyscrapers!!

That's what counts. Politicians would have wasted that money anyway.

Very impressive. I guess the concert hall is in the lower section, and the upper... offices or an hotel?

What is cool in Hamburg is that the harbour is still part of the city, while there's a trend around the world on pushing the harbour to the outer shores. I like to see the cargos and barges so close to the buildings and living areas, that helps on keeping the city's identity.

I didn't know that it will be possible to swing open the building so the concert hall can be used as an open air stage, too. Nice gimmick! But it must be strange if you live in one of the appartments above!

no. The concert hall is in the upper section. In the lower section will be the parking lot

Thats really freaking awesome when you enjoy your Coktail at a beachclub in Summer in the city and a 300 Meter cargo
ship passes by. Further expansion planings will press the harbour even more into the city.
