It's not too far from the motorways. But there's nothing around it as far as shops, restaurants, etc. I don't see how it will be anything other than a horrible environment for fans.

I had the pleasure of going to Muich , alliance arena for a tour of the Stadium last week and what an amazing building and very user friendly abut most supprising, it had no bars, shops, buildings etc around it at all. Everyone arrives by train and then departs back to the city to make merry. Huge wind turbine next to the stadium generating elec

There are 2 new developments around Nasrec, but it seems like they are residential clusters with high walls making that are more boring. Do you guys remember Share World, I wish that they could refurb it again. We really need entertainment arear in that ara

ok, did the design for Soccer City with the old render of the roof, so I took that off, & put the new bowl style with no cladding, as yet

Is anyone else amused by how green the surroundings are in these stadium pictures? Sure, Jo'burg is green in the summer, but I wish the LOC would show us a render of what the area will look like in the dead of the highveld winter. Give the world a real glimpse of what they'll get to see instead of the greenery of CPT, DUR & PE.

ya it was the old design, and not from the current architectural firm. i do think that many of the attributes of the image in the first post have been minimalised...looking at the little glimpse you get from behind that mans shoulder in the pic..that would be sad
