Yeah, level 34 is a Restaurant/Bar - it should be the highest bar in the UK once it's finished!

Beetham West in Liverpool also has a bar on the 34th floor, but our 34th floor is higher up than theirs

----

Cheers for all the kind comments about the tower guys

The highest bar and the highest cinema - Glasgow might just build a high rise reputation yet.

Some of the stuff that is proposed on FutureGlasgow looks impressive as well as being great for the city. If most of the stuff gets approved I think we are looking at getting ragaining our rightful status as Britain's 2nd city in a decade or so (get it up ye Manc and Brum )

Will the entire project fit on that dirt-covered area, or will more of the area behind it be demolished?

This is a newly Proposed Tower for Glasgow just incase any of you who were enquiring wanted to know. It's called the Argyle International Hotel, it's gonna be six stars. Height 26 storeys. Architect is Ian Simpson.

ooooo! I like that one. looks like there are two towers there ...

Doesn't the Burj Al Arab in Dubai claim to have 7 stars?

But wow, interesting design! Though obviously won't be near in height to Elphinstone Place.

Elegant design. Too many of the highrises going up in Britain these days are unattractively amorphous...but not the case here.
